Another brief update. The group's order ended up arriving to our warehouse in New Jersey late this afternoon and our team is now hard at work breaking down the shipment into the individual packages. We anticipate everything going out before the end of this week and we'll be sure to update the group once we've shipped complete.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/21 or earlier if anything comes up.

I have the 6" version of this with a tanto blade as my EDC (US obviously) and I love it. The problem isnt the seatbelt cutter (which makes a much better flipper than the knob on the non-EMT version), but the glass breaker on the bottom. If the pocket clip ever comes off, or you have small pockets, it will dig into your leg something awful.
I really wish Massdrop would do a drop for one of the 6" models, as I don't need any more tiny 3" knives. My model is the M16-14ZER.

The cutter would be cutting your pocket off. I almost want to buy this just to show YouTube how stupid that design feature is...

I've had one of these for years and its been a great knife. Price is about average here but still not a bad deal.

Canadians beware: two CKRT M16s I purchased from a previous drop were seized by Canada Customs as being restricted weapons. I'm currently appealing their decision but I'm not hopeful.

While CRKT could move up in the blade steel world, AUS-8 is easy to sharpen and doesn't need ceramic or diamond rods to do so. And every knife needs lubricated to function well. This is a knife thats best left in a vehicle rather than carried. I have and carry a CRKT M16-13T, never let me down thru Bosnia and Iraq, but I won't be in this drop. The Spyderco Rescue is a much better option for the role for which this was designed.

Good knife comfortable I carry it every day, but the steel is absolute shit. And you have to keep the mechanism clean and oiled.

tyler555Strange, I don't know what happened to my reply, but you're dead right. I've had another CRKT similar knife with the same steel and you can only open a few boxes before the edge needs to be honed again. Heaven forbid you need to do real work with the knife. Mine opens and closes very smoothly now, but I'll never buy another CRKT.
