I bought a M16-13T before going to afghanistan in 2003... used it nearly every day for a year there, and I still use it all the time... it has been through a lot and 12 years later it still functions as good as the day I bought it.
I agree with all of the comments made by gcbond BTW. The only problem I've had with it is that it can build up sand/dirt/whatever if you use it in a dirty environment but it is easy enough to take apart for cleaning, just pay attention to how the little parts inside the opening mechanism are stacked as you disassemble it
