CRKT M21 Series Folding Knives

Designed by knifemaker Kit Carson, the CRKT M21-02G features a 3.1-inch (3.9-inch on the large version), deep-bellied spear point blade, which excels in piercing tasks. Made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with ti-nitride coating for added corrosion resistance, the blade is made to take abuse. For deployment, use the built-in Carson flipper, a design that doubles as a blade guard once opened. A liner lock holds the blade in place, while the unique AutoLAWKS feature sets a pin against it for reinforcement. The skeletonized G10 handle is textured for grip in clammy conditions, while the two-position pocket clip provides convenient carry for tip-up and tip-down users. Upgrade to the larger version for extra power, or grab one with Veff Serrations for tearing through tough material with ease.

After growing up an avid hunter and fisherman in the mountains of Georgia, Kit Carson spent more than 30 years in the army, reaching the level of master sergeant. His experience in the outdoors and in the armed forces heavily shaped Carson’s views on knife design. In 1993, Carson became a full-time knifemaker and eventually became a voting member of the Knifemakers’ Guild until his passing in 2014. Never one to follow the crowd, Carson believed in function over aesthetic, a trait derived from his background that can be found in the majority of his work.
