Balance, flair, and functionality: These are words that define the CRKT Navajo by Jim Hammond. With a partially serrated 3-inch blade made from bead-blasted Z60CDV14 stainless steel—a rust-resistant steel similar to 440A, with slightly better edge retention—this slim folder makes quick work of slicing, sawing, and piercing tasks. Its handle is made from matching bead-blasted stainless steel, and provides superior control due to its pronounced curve at the base. A thin, curved pocket clip complements the folder’s uniform aesthetic, while also providing convenient tip-down carry.

A member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1978, Jim Hammond was the first ever custom knifemaker chosen to collaborate with CRKT. After gaining recognition for his simple, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional designs, Hammond helped develop the SEALTAC tactical knife in 1981, which to this day is one of the most widely used tactical knives in military conflicts around the world. Presently, he continues to produce military- and collector-grade knives operating out of his home state of Alabama.
