I always see people bitching about the pricing of drops cause they can find it for maybe a lil cheaper or same price as amazon or some of the other knife distributors. Massdrop has never said they are the cheapest or best deal, but they are going to offer better deals then the manufacturer direct will.

UsrnameUnknownI wonder how many people buying knives on MD would consider the manufacturer their first (or any) stop for purchasing a knife. Personally, I only use the official site to decide *what* I want, then figure where to buy it.

UsrnameUnknownLOL. Virtually EVERYBODY sells less than the manufacturer. Sorry, but only a fool would use that as a reference, especially when you know other legit sellers sell for less, every day.

UsrnameUnknownYou linked the wrong product. The knife you posted is the higher end D2 steel version which costs more. This is the knife in the drop.

UsrnameUnknownBut what is the justification that folks should use, and tell themselves, in order to pay more for the item at Massdrop than somewhere else for the same item? Is there an implied loyalty that is supposed to overwhelm us and drive us to buy from Massdrop, no matter what? Have to remember to factor in shipping and sales tax as well. Because if there is a secret way to get folks to blindly follow Massdrop no matter what the cost, then I'd like to know the secret, so that I can do this myself as well.
