Yes it is worth it. I know 8Cr13Mov is not the best but it is still a very good knife steel and I have no problem using it on a day to day bases. However I like to sharpen my knives so when I dull a blade its time to play. The build is way better than expected. It has a great lock up very smooth deployment and little to no play. The pocket clip is perfect for me and the size is good for my hands. The slender design adds to the look but does take away from the white knuckle gripyness you may want for a blade this size. That being said it is a perfect over sized gentleman knife or a slender but solid EDC.
