If there’s anyone who knows the importance of a stout blade, it’s Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes, who hand tests each of his designs in the fjords, forests, and harsh conditions of his native country. The Batum is the latest folder—available here in two sizes—that can easily handle tasks that necessitate strength and power Read More
Massdrop, could you do something about your eye popping international shipping rate please?!
$21 plus to ship this to Singapore? Come on! This is a rip off!
VinhCHEThe blade length is ok. But im not sure if this is considered an assisted folder. ”assisted” are technically illegal to carry but more than likely a cop would let you off with this.
the old school knifes with the little thumbail pull on them are legal if blade is less than 3 inch I believe, as well as a non folding knife 3 inch blade. But the non folding can be considered as a weapon.
in short, the only “legal“ knives to carry would be something like the thumb pull folders/swiss army knives. technically non-folding too, but they can be considered as a dagger or some shit if you meet an asshole cop.
ive lived here for almost 2 years and haven’t had a problem, even accidentally went thru a metal detector at a court, but that’s when being a veteran helped me out and got me out of a ticket
8cr13mov isn't the best, but this blade is a big, wide blade that you're gonna use as a beater knife and do things like cut cardboard or maybe even wood. For those types of tasks, 8cr13mov is great because it's very easy to get it from dull to razor sharp in about ten minutes. CRKT really does make some of the best beater knives, they're just not always the best quality.
PapaEmeritusAgreed for the price I mean you get what you pay for if it was say s35vn steel I'd be all up in this although I'm probably going to buy one anyway lol
