BakerrrrLegal to own? Or legal to carry?
This knife is actually sold by Amazon.co.uk and is legal to own in the UK. Being a speed-safe flipper isn't included in the list of banned knives. The regulations are for knives such as switchblades, which are opened by the push of a button, rather than the blade actually being moved.
As long as the blade is pushed open, which in this case it is by the use of the flipper, albeit assisted to some extent, this knife is still legal to own. However not to carry, due to the frame lock.

I can see from the picture its a lock knife and a quick google said "import of lock knives are strictly prohibited"
Limitless_Potential"Offensive weapons that can be imported
Not all offensive weapons are controlled when imported. The following are classed as non-prohibited offensive weapons:
lock knives - ie with blades which fold into the handle that can be opened manually and locked into place"

kottikThat doesn't make it illegal to own, just illegal to carry.
I understand that locking knives are not legal to carry, and a blade length longer than 3 inches is not legal to carry. However they are still legal to own in the UK.
The comment I was replying to was saying that importing locking knives in general was illegal.
