Got mine on Thursday. I am very, very pleased. Coming from a Trackman marble, it was not difficult to adjust to this mouse at all.
To "break it in", I played some bot matches in Call of Duty: BLII, starting with easy enemies, then slowly increasing the difficulty as I became more comfortable. In almost no time at all I was winning against Veteran bots and I could then compete in a real online environment.
I just got back from playing a couple of live matches in Titanfall and I feel right at home. I'm a happy guy.
Also - and this might sound funny - but the scroll-wheel is SMOOTH. I don't know why, but it checks all of my boxes in the best kind of way. It feels very limber and loose; but not too loose; just the perfect amount of friction, but not too much. I don't know. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to not having a scroll wheel. But the scroll wheel on this one feels great, regardless.
Only quirk for me is the middle-click. Feels like it's in an awkward position, right above the ball, and I feel like I have to try to reach my finger far enough that it misses the bezel around the ball, but not so far that I miss the button completely and hit the scroll wheel instead. I'm sure I will adjust to it over time though.

DankkAwesome mini review. I cant wait to get mine (might be a longer wait as Im in New Zealand). This will be my first trackball, so might feel a bit nerfed for a while, but planning to either use this at work or at home for gaming.

cub3yIf you're coming from a traditional mouse and you have no experience with a trackball, then the learning curve will be a bit steep. When I got my first trackball it took me at least a couple of weeks to get used to it. It is absolutely worth it though.
