$50 bucks and only one pic! No reason to actually show the damn blades I guess--we're only here for the block and handles right?!

nkfroI remember the days when knives were only shown with their blades modestly concealed by a wooden block or custom sheath. Admittedly in some of the racier magazines you might see the odd knife slightly withdrawn with a cheeky bit of heel showing, or perhaps with the tip just barely visible from behind a strategically placed vegetable.
Nowadays though, you can just jump on the internet and see knives all over the place flaunting fully exposed blades like it was nothing! Good to see that most of the knives in this set have retained a sense of decorum, even if the chef's knife has followed the modern trend and gone the full monty.
