Can someone tell me if they actually print all that text on the side of the knife, or if it just an image overlay of the details in the picture? This is a very nice knife, but if that text is actually on there i feel that it would detract from the beauty of the blade. I know i am being picky, but why do companies insist on ruining their products when a simple makers mark or logo would suffice.

NYCDEThe whole series is great. Absolutely love the handle and it slices well. Check Ebay as well. Found one of the chef knives for $30 NIB.

It looks promising. But as a carving knife, I'd prefer something longer. Does this company make a longer carving knife? If I'm doing a big ham or turkey or brisket I want something that's 10 inches minimum...

I have all other knives, and they are outstanding, and I just needed the carving knife to complete my set. Now the drop has been canceled and I'm going to have to spend $195.00 to get the last knife I need. Really disappointing!
