I have a Corsair K95 original keyboard (plate mount, cherry MX red). I want to change several of the red switches to have a higher actuation pressure. Specifically, I would want to change about 5 keys from red to a very heavy feel, like that provided by a cherry MX linear grey. Will I be able to access the parts of the switch needed to replace the spring without desoldering the switch, or otherwise opening the keyboard up?

No, you'll have to open it up and desolder the switches you want to alter.
