The world of EDC is heading in the direction of men's jewelry. A lot of these items strike me as more ceremonial and decorative adornments, than usable tools. I don't have an issue with that, it just makes it easier to understand these objects.
You know these sell plain for $17 dollars right? go out to home depot, get a torch head and bottle of propane for like $15, do it yourself, and you'll have a propane kit to use for other projects
This drop mystifies me. The whole idea of a pry bar is using it as a lever, yet this is only 3 inches long--that doesn't give you much leverage. This would be good for prying a finishing nail out of your leg if your fingers were stiff from the cold. And why does it have U.S. Gov't stamped on it?
I was thinking more like midtechs and customs, but I guess everyones idea of "nice" is different. My personal widgy bar is the regular D9 steel version that costs around $10.
In my opinion Atwood tools only exist for the small cult following that prefer taking pictures of their tools rather than using them.
guvnorHence why I said BLING.
At least Atwood Knive's little gizmos have actual work put into them to be called customs and are well finished.
This is just a regular prybar made in Ti, flamed a bit and charges custom prices. If you want a tool then get that $10 D9 widgy bar, if you want true custom BLING go for something like Atwood Knives which is at least fully hand crafted.
This is just an overpriced pry bar.
