Cvstos, which means “guardian” in Latin, sprung onto the scene in 2005 with a slew of watches that pushed the boundaries of traditional design. The ChallengeR TT is a fine example of the company’s watchmaking prowess. This intricately detailed timepiece gets its “TT” moniker from its twin-time function: a secondary dial spanning from 5 to 7 o’clock that allows the wearer to track another time zone. Another unique feature is the date window at 12. Two rotating discs numbered 0 through 9 work in tandem to display the correct date. To keep these features working swiftly is a Calibre CVSTOS 551 automatic movement. Structurally, the watch employs a stainless steel case and sapphire crystals on the front and the back. The prominent crown not only adds a touch of welcome contrast, but it’s made from titanium to boot.
