I really like these but I have to agree with some of the previous posts about the bills. Why would you include a photo showing this and adding it to the description if it is a total FAIL? My first Massdrop transaction and I kind of feel like that kid with a broken toy. Right now they are good at storing air. :-/ So here is what I have learned. I looked at the original kickstarter project. The "long" is 3.25" in length...not 2.81". This is the length of the "long" on their website as well. Looking at a bill it seems to be a bit over 2 9/16" and the internal length of this cache is ~2 7/16". Given the difference between the original "long" and this "long" is ~0.44" I would have to say this entire project is a fail. It is my own fault for not researching it closer. But when one of the very few photos shows a bill rolled up in it and the description talks about it...gosh... So I think the least you can do is rename this one "Cybernetic Nano Cache (NOT) Long (ENOUGH)" at the very least!Thank you Massdrop for making my first transaction a lesson in taking more personal responsibility for the products I buy and not to trust anything in your descriptions in the future!
Correction: You CAN get a dollar bill in there by rolling it up and forcing it down. The bill does not look too good when you pull it out but technically it is possible. I still hold that the name is deceptive as it looks like these are nothing but rejects from CRL Products. They probably accidentally milled out a whole lot of these and were able to dump them here.
