@RealET have you tested the keyboard with cherry or MT3 profile keycaps?

Yes, MT3 definitely fits, and I believe some of our customers have used Cherry. Cherry is pretty small overall so I don't think there would be any issue.

Love to see another split keyboard on the market, but where is this price coming from? You can get more adjustable and fully wireless options for $20 less than the fully built offering.

Hey @conundrum, thanks for the question! (I'm the owner of Cyboard, by the way.) The primary cost-driving benefits of this board over others currently on the market are the hot-swappable MX switches and the premium case materials.

You are completely right. It does not have any premium materials, including the plastic upper case, dye-sub keycaps, switches, or a wireless option. People should stop buying this kind of product at this price point, or this industry will never force manufacturers to improve their products.

I’d love to see some detail photos of the insides and aluminum base. Sure, those aren’t the glamor shots average consumers want, but for keyboard enthusiasts those will show off what they’re paying for.

Absolutely! Here's a photo of the anodized aluminum finish (on a different keyboard, but the same finish is on this one). There are more photos on our website (https://cyboard.digital) and in our discord (https://discord.com/invite/4hf8uEnrfj). We're pretty proud of how we got hotswap working with curved keywell boards, using an internal plate to physically support each socket. If you want even more in-depth photos of the construction, you can also take a look at our build guide, since we also offer DIY kit versions of the Dactyl Manuform. Possibly! We already support trackballs on our other keyboards (the Imprint).

What is exactly the offer? The price seems higher than on the official website…..

If you select the options here (nylon, aluminum, etc.) the price is lower on Drop. It is a special deal for the premium version of the Dactyl Manuform.
