The books themselves are great, but I'm not sure the gamble for quality is worth it. For something at this price, and labeled as "special edition," I'm disappointed that it's such a toss-up on whether or not I'm going to get a set with its corners bashed in, pages cut poorly, or binding falling apart, especially after these issues have been reported seemingly every time the drop happens. I imagine that this is more of an issue with Wizards than Drop, but it's still a significant problem that should be addressed by...somebody. I was one of the luckier ones, and my books arrived almost completely unscathed, with only some minor ripples on 1-2 corners of each. Due to the DM screen being slightly shorter than the books, it seems almost guaranteed that the corners on that side of the collector's box will end up at least slightly crushed, especially with such a pitiful amount of packaging -- just the shrink-wrapped set by itself in a plain cardboard box. Overall, they're nice books, but you're really testing fate.
