I am thinking of getting one of these for my 23mm watch. Would it work, and if so, should I get the 22mm or the 24mm version? I prefer the 24mm unless these straps are on the larger size or are tough to squeeze through.

xmulThe correct answer is that you should get a custom made 23mm wide strap made which will fit your watch perfectly. This is much more expensive so most people do exactly what you are asking, choose between a 22mm and 24mm wide strap, since they are more readily available. We would recommend a 22mm wide strap in this scenario as it is a for sure fit but will leave you with a .5mm (approx) gap on each side of the strap. We have heard from a lot of customers that they make the 24mm wide strap work in a lot of cases. If you want to take a slight gamble then we recommend the 24mm wide option and if you want something that will fit but leave you with a slight wiggle from side to side, then the 22mm wide option is for you. This leather is on the more pliable and thinner side so the 24mm option would have a higher chance of working with this specific leather option. We hope this helps.

How does this leather compare to the chromexcel or shell straps? Can I expect the same stretch as the chrome, or will it be sturdier?

Why do some pics show one piece straps (two metal keepers), while other pics show two piece straps (three metal keepers)???

FearlessleaderThis drop is only for the 1x buckle/2x metal keeper single strap version. The photos have been fixed, thank you for bringing this to our attention so we could get that corrected through Drop.

I was really hoping I'd be able to just add the add-on Venetian cream like you can in some drops, but it looks like that's not an option here. I've heard nothing but good things about DaLuca, but I really don't need another leather strap right now. P.S. I'm holding out for the Bond NATO drop to come back around.

Chenson722It appears you can add a bottle of venetian cream to your cart at checkout. Let us know if this is not working for you so we can contact Drop to get it modified.
We will take note of the Bond strap for future drops (we take ALL suggestions very seriously so this is genuinely noted by us and not a hollow comment) ;)

DA-LUCAHey, thanks for the response, it goes a long way! I may not have been clear, but sometimes when (Mass)drop has add-ons, you can choose just the add on and not the main item. For instance, I could buy the strap for $40, strap and cream for 40+9=$49, or just the cream for 40-31=$9. Just wishful thinking here, as the cream is $19 on your site and $17 on Amazon and I have enough leather straps (for now) that don't get enough love.

Used to be that Limited-Edition meant special/exclusive, rather than: these are all I made.
Same is true of all these pop-up, micro-brew watch companies; they only offer 300 watch runs because that’s all the money they had, were willing to invest, or projected they could sell. So not exclusive or Limited by design, but by capability instead. Small difference, but a difference nonetheless.
