Worn for a few months and most comfortable strap I own and no major stretch or other issues. Great cordovan and mine is consistent width. Not right for every watch but for a field or similar this is a great choice.
I want to like this, but it's too big for my wrist. I'm torn between making a new hole (and having the excess strap flopping about) or just giving it to someone else. (But no one else I know cares about such things as shell cordovan watch straps. )
Da Luca makes some of the best leather watch straps money can buy, and while they are expensive, they are well worth the cost and Da Luca is willing to stand 100% behind their product and work with you on any issues. Can't recommend them enough. This is my 3rd shell cordovan strap and I guarantee it won't be my last.
Props to Da Luca for being active and responsive both here on the discussion board and with their customer support emails.
D.WalkerThis is just the nature of the leather. Given that, very high end shoes ($600+) are made from this and while they can scratch, as can all leathers, they can be revived and made to look close to new with products such as Venetian Cream or many other ones. We highly recommend looking out for something like that to help remove these scratches.
DA-LUCAwhat are other products that can clean? I have quite a few leather cleaner, wax, and oil, and not sure if I need to get this Venetian Cream, or I can just use an existing product.
