MD - your model option pictures do not show black ash, it looks like you're only showing Light Walnut and White.
As for pricing... I hear the complaints and have no problem jumping on MD about pricing. But... is this drop really that bad considering that Dali speakers are pretty hard to find in the US outside the dealer network?
"Cheaper on Amazon"... the Pico isn't even available on Amazon in the US. The 1 series is $400/pr and the 3 series is $600/pr. Amazon stock for the 1 series is always limited (or out) and the 3 series stock isn't much better.
No, you don't get the instant gratification of prime delivery, but that is really the only drawback.
Personally, I would strongly consider this drop if they had the Vokal center channel speaker as an option. I see the Pico as an upgrade to my 15 yr old Energy 5.1 speakers (I would keep my current sub). I won't join the drop without the Pico Vokal, because I have no idea when I would ever be able to find a Pico Vokal

dasmanHorizontal 'center speakers' typically sound slightly different than it's vertical counterparts, not a good thing. The best 'center speaker' is the exact same model of speaker that is used as the main L/R speakers. Unless it wouldn't fit under your display, I would recommend setting up a vertical Pico or 1 as your center speaker. I give kudos to MD for selling these individually instead of selling as pairs.
