I have had this wallet for well over a year now and will buy another one if this one ever gives out. It holds cards, cash, and even a slim multi-tool, and it's SOOO much slimmer than a standard wallet. It keeps you from loading it up with too much junk. It has not stretched out of shape over the year, but has definitely "broken in" like a great baseball glove ... so snug around my cards. I used to have a similar wallet I loved that loaded the cards from the end (lengthwise) with a leather strap that snapped over it. Over time, the leather strap loosened and would not stay closed. I lost all my cards several times this way before I found the Dango wallet. Not since.
Prior to this I would carry paper money bundled with a rubber band, plus cards in a binder clip. This is a definite upgrade from that, still holding true to the "minimalism" concept but without adding any pocket-heft.
After two or three months the screws holding the bracket fell out, I had to get new screws but since then they held. It still looks nice, after over a year there's little to no wear.
Enjoyable wallet. I did lose the multitool to TSA tho. I had flown a few times with it in checked bags. Alas I flew with only carry on baggage and had it taken away. The multitool was very convenient for it's bottle opening capabilities cuz I always had it on me.
Just got my C01 Civilian Wallet in the mail. I bought it with the multi-tool to replace one that I lost. I was a little concerned that the multi-tool had no integration with the wallet but I bought it anyway because I figured they wouldn't be sold in the same drop together if they did no go together. My hunch was right, the multi-tool does not really function with the wallet. Sure I can jam it into one of the slots but the edges seem to constantly catch on the leather and will probably age the wallet much quicker.
Without the tool the wallet is just fine and slim and holds basically all I need day-to-day (the metal ring is a bit clunky). Disappointed more in the drop for pairing the two items together. But i guess they are god enough for me not to not want to go through the trouble of returning them.
