It looks nice, affordable, heard a lot of good things about this Tube Amp... but I also heard a lot of terrible things about it. Hard to decide, I should just save money for a better one. This amp is still quite tempting though.
I heard about a lot of people having hissing in their headphones when I pulled the trigger. The stock tubes didn't hiss but some of they replacement tubes did. All you have to do it plug them in and leave it on. My Sophia Electric tube took about 30 hours of burn in time but now it's completely silent! I'm very happy with this tube amp.
Get CAIG DeoxIT Gold Vacuum Tube Survival Kit to clean all contacts and this amp will be dead silent.
Thanks for the info, I've also heard that some of their tubes literally exploded and shattered everywhere....
I have tried tons of tubes with none exploding. I would say just use the stock tubes. The hissing takes sometimes 100 hours to go away. I did the fitz mod to help with the hissing and it does but then the gain is fairly high. I just wish darkvoice would put a similar fix as they know it is a problem for ages and hasn't done anything about it.
Thanks for the information :)
