I recommend trying to roll the 6sn7 first. I do not own this amp (yet) but in my Almarro A318B its the input tube that counts (6sn7) and has a large impact on sonic signature. Some tubes I like are the Sylvania 6SN7GT, not a fan of their GTB or VT 231. I like KenRad 6SN7 VT 231 and Electroharmonix 6SN7. The Sylvania GT sounds brightest of the three, possibly most three dimensional, very good bass grip, not as much bass weight as KenRad and EH. The EH is my favourite all rounder, but in certain systems I can see preceding the Sylvania or KenRad. EH is darker, almost as wide and 3d, better bass weight, same depth and grip as Sylvania, something better about midbass and overall bass quality. KenRad is a bass heavy tube in a tight and fun way. Maybe more forward than the others, especially in the mid and lower bass region. I like these three tubes. I think with headphones all would be fun to own if you've got a couple pairs of cans for different moods, or one great pair and want to change the sound a bit.
