Why does massdrop keep selling this garbage tube amp when there are better ones out there for the price. QC is terrible on DV.
I purchased the Audioromy M6v6 and can't be happier. Dead silent and runs everything.

TonyRizoMaybe because it's not junk? I've had mine for 2 years and couldn't be happier with it. Runs everything I've thrown at it (I have 2 sets of 600ohm cans).
I'm sure your Audioromy M6v6 is nice, but I just googled it and couldn't find an instock seller, plus it's nearly $100 more than the DV. **edit just found some one Ebay, they range from$ 294 to $364 that's a considerable jump in price over this amp. Not really an apples to apples comparison. There are a lot of ~$400 amps I would probably take over the M6v6.

AudioFazeMy guess would be that the manufacturer is concentrating outside the USA. I was hesitant to purchase from China because of their return policy at owners expense which Is why I bought it thru Amazon so I can return it at sellers expense if the product was defective. No regrets, with the right tubes, the sound is nothing short of jaw dropping.

ohsigmachiI don't have any need to troll, I owned the DV, now own the Little Dot Mk2 and the Audioromy M6v6. I have spent on tubes more than you have drank water. I got rid of the DV because the Quality Control is an issue. Don't you read reviews? I still fell in the trap and passing my experience to others to not make the same mistake, unless they can return their products back to the manufacturer, it's not worth the headaches. But hey, I guess you need to hear that it is a great piece of work so go ahead a purchase one and if it turns out that it works great for you, then consider yourself lucky. As for me, both my LD Mk2 and my Audioromy has absolutely no hums or issues of any kind. Going on 3 years now. The DV does sound good if you receive a good working unit. Now go butt hurt somewhere else and stop taking it personal as if you own the company. I call it the way I see it. The DV is has garbage Quality Control.

I just find it sad when someones self worth is so low that they need to prove themselves by denigrating other peoples purchases while bolstering their own. It's a self confidence issue. Remember, you are more than the products you buy. No need to justify your purchase, by putting down other peoples choices.

TonyRizoDo you have any experience on Bravo hybrid amplifiers?. I have read good reviews and the price is around 70$ only. And Bravo 1 and 3 even have three band-EQ.

The audio on my pc38x is not working

One day I just plugged in my Pc38x and they stopped working. I tested the mic and it works, I've tried changing the cord multiple times and have adjusted the volume disk, none of this has changed my situation. I've tested the headphones on my PC, switch, and PS5 and the audio doesn't work there either.

Hifiman x Dekoni Cobalt or Massdrop x Meze 99 Noir

Im looking to buy a set of closed back headphones under $200. So far the two main contenders are the Cobalt and Noir. Has anyone compared these two? which seems to be better? Both are around the same price. Ive heard the cobalt is lacking in bass, while thats not ideal im not too worried as I dont often listen to bassy music.

Xduoo Poke II repair

Hi friends, I recently had a mishap with my Xduoo Poke II, that is, it fell out of my hands and now it turns on but the command buttons now work sometimes and sometimes not. I have written several times to Xduoo directly because it was with them that I bought this Dac and to find out what I can do about it but after two months I have not received a response. I live in Mexico City but I would like to know if anyone knows of a technical service in the US that could repair my Poke II and know if it would be worth it for me taking into account the cost of repair and the issue of shipping, or if it is better to think about buying a new portable Dac.
