Is it difficult to make this amp both for 110V and 220V? I see many of the new AMPs support both Voltages. I am divided between 2 countries and I have constantly this issue with voltage... Would be nice to see AMPs in the future support both.

HIFI778I think you will have to change the wiring on the primary winding of the power transfo. Not a good solution in your case... How about a simple power converter from 220V to 110V or the other way around, depending on what your DV is... Make sure it delivers sine waves, so nothing switched.. The new amps supporting both voltages are probably solid state amps, I haven't seen tube amps being universal...

Partypooper81Multi voltage tube amps exist. It’s up to the designer to be able to implement it. Most can’t.

D2GirlsYes, you're right. I actually checked out a WooAudio yesterday that had a switch on the back to choose between 115 and 230V. The switch simply does what I explaine above; change the wiring on the power transfo... So maybe that's an option for HIFI778; get an amp with a switch like that... or add a switch like that to the DV...
