I have to admit this unit is "heavy duty: ,it's big but it looks sick ,no foul smell here ,everything came in nicely packaged
I swapped the tubes since I have some picked via ebay and didn't listen to the stock tubes at all ,the power tube have the upside-down pear shape and looks wild
When I turn on the unit for the first time I was little disappointed since I could hear micro crackling in left channel probably due to the weather-unit was very cold when it arived but after about 3~4 hours of burn-in it cleared up pretty nicely I'm very happy ,DV 336SE sounds great ,I will post a pic in few
The stock tubes had no noise for me. it wasn't until I switched the smaller tube that I got noise mostly in the left channel but some in the right. I tested 8 tubes some worse some better. Noise in these hasn't gone away after several hours of use will try more. My understanding is it just takes burn in time of about a day for the noise to be totally gone. I'm confused why they haven't fixed this as I tested these tubes in other amps and they work fine as is.
