How are these in comparison to say, smartwools? The lower wool percentage for the cushioned variant is worrying.

cassist30I find the quality comparable to the Smartwool brand and the lifetime warranty Darn Tough offers makes me feel better about paying $15 for a pair of socks. That said, that experience was with the 67% Merino wool variant, specifically the Merino Wool Hike-Trek Micro Crew Socks, so I can't speak to the durability of the lower wool content ones.

NortherLightsthe work cushion ones here are just like the hike cushion ones, but they have slightly less cushion and can be worn all year round. I find the hike ones to get warm when its hot out.
