I've owned this keyboard for a couple years now. I bought it direct from Das with Brown switches. My only comment is that the default keycaps aren't very good. They have a very nice font but they're printed ABS so they wear out. I replaced them this year with Tai Hao Miamis and it looks fabulous. The USB 3.0 hub is a godsend. AMA.
lunahexYou have any problem with mice or thumb drives from your USB hub? I've heard some complaints about some thumb drives not working due to a low power draw.
Does the alu body show any scratches or shine?
Does it have a seam on the front of the case, (Like where your thumbs would press on the side in front of the spacebar) or any other flex in this spot?
Metal fullsize are hard to come by, but I've never tried a Das before. Thanks in advance for responding!
H2WhoahI've had no problems with the hub at all, everything I've plugged into it (phones, hard drive cradles, thumb drives, controllers). The body is still completely matte with no scratches or anything. Whatever paint they put on it is tough as nails. No seams or flex spots that I can see, it's incredibly tough and I can't imagine bending it if I really wanted to.
