ShooshineWhile I agree it's sad there's no USB C, I wanted to explain why there most likely isn't.
The cables in the drop state they're hand made, which most likely means the ends are hand soldered into the connectors so they can fit the paracord around the cable sleeve. USB C has 24 pins. Granted, they mirror each other and there's a couple duplicates, so that's 10 solder connections in a tiny area. Not fun, and it's time consuming. That's compared to the four on a standard USB 2 cable (ignoring the 5th on mini/micro).
Same reason you don't really see DIY USB 3 cables, too many pins and not enough area to make mass producing hand made cables feasible, unless you charge a bunch. The connectors themselves are also much more expensive.
Anyway, as dangerous as a USB C cable can be, I wouldn't want to buy one unless I know it's been tested by a third party anyway.
