Finally finished procrastinating and put together my ergodox infinity with a Black Walnut case and it came out fabulously.
My quality issues were easily dealt with (and what I already expected of using solid wood). One of my back covers came in warped by a millimeter or two and popped out a couple of the posts, but some super glue (I used gel type loctite) paired with a rubber eraser to push down on it seated it well enough that I haven't had any issues in the last couple days. One of my m2 screws wouldn't screw in with the keyboard in (felt short) but swapping it with another screw made both work. There's no wobble with my case, but I'm not using any feet.
Overall very pleased with my keyboard and haven't had any need to contact support. I have a couple questions for anyone who has read this far though:
Were there non-slip feet originally included with the drop? I didn't see any in my box and I can't remember if I had to pay for it separately.
Is there any special care required for a wooden case? Do I need to seal every so often or anything?
could you go into more detail how you fixed the m2 screw not going in fully, i have the same issue and im having a hard trouble fixing it myself.
