Is it possible to have the shipper declare the item as gift/sample or CIF value @ 250usd ? For avoiding the customs tax in Singapore (and other countries).

maamirNo. They won't do that. As it says on the FAQ page:
"Can you declare my package as a gift or at a lower value?
We cannot under declare the value of the packages or mark them as anything but merchandise. To do otherwise would be a direct violation of customs regulations and is illegal in the United States."
