As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.

This says the watch is a 42mm but other sites state it is a 40mm size. Does anyone know for sure?

One more thing. For those of us in Canada (Toronto, Ont.) Would we be getting hit with insane duties at delivery? Which shipping company are you using?

soulbrothaI can't comment on the duties because that depends on the individual shipment. It's also out of our control, so i'll let other Canadians comment on their experience. We're shipping to Canada via Ascendia.

It's a military watch? Yet it is 1-12. Maybe it should say military "style" watch.

Mudajust buy the watch- the money will go out of your bank account towards something else anyway and you won't regret having the watch!

Oh wow. I really want this watch. I don't know if I can justify this purchase with myself right now though. I love the orange hands version. I also love how the numbers are so legible. Anyone have any first hand experience with the lume on this watch? Is it any good and what does it look like?

Thanks for the response. Any chance you could post a picture or video of the lume on this watch? Also, how durable are PVD coatings on watches? I'd hate for the color to wear off after some time on the wrist.

soulbrothaHere's a picture of the lume. It should give you a general idea of the color, but please know that this is a terrible picture that I shot. It's hard to photograph lume without the right camera settings. It's a lot more vivid and bright in person, but it's simply just not captured by the camera.

The PVD is a pretty standard TiCN coating that is used on most PVD coated watches. It's pretty hard and relatively durable. I haven't worn this watch for an extended period of time, so I can't comment with first hand experience of how it will hold up over a long period of time.

Fliegers generally don't have screw-down crowns. Most have only 3 to 10 meter water resistance. The manufacturer's page for this watch says 20 ATM or 200 meters, which is hard to do without a screw-down crown. So either it has a screw-down, or it has some other method of sealing the crown to 200 meters. I wouldn't worry about it.
