Rolex "borrowed" part of the Submariner styling from the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms anyways. I agree that Rolex does produce a high quality product. It's worth what someone will pay. The high quality homoge is a industry standard, many reputable brands have their own based on the historical looks. That said, if you want a watch almost identical to the Davosa in build quality and movement grade go with a Steinhart Ocean One. If you buy direct from them you'll pay less than $400 considering what the euro vs. usd rate and receive it in a similar timeframe as this drop.

Russel730We can go over this again, but the idea that Rolex stole or borrowed from the FF for the Submariner is conjecture. And no serious watch collector considers this Davosa a fake in any way. It's an homage for sure, but to be considered a fake it would have to have the Rolex name and coronet logo, which it clearly does not.

Russel730The subby and the 50 fathoms were originally released in exactly the same year (1953) They share little to no similarity, and cannot even be slightly consider an homage. The submariner was largely based off of their previous water resistant oyster watches who's lineage stretches back to 1935.
You have no idea what you're talking about.

BrenzoSomeone needs to practice their reading skills. I never said the Sub was an homage to the FF. If you look at the first FF and first sub they share quite a few similarities. Maybe chill out a bit.
