The choice of font is... weird, but it wouldn't stop me from buying these keyboard if I were interested. Would totally love to see a manufacturer shoot themselves in the foot with a Comic Sans keyboard, though. Haha.
i have a deck legend with clear which i paid 200 for around 4-5 years ago and i would say it's worth it. Ignoring the font the keyboard is amazing it's more durable than anything i've had in the pass and the double shot caps + quality led they use makes it last alot longer. For comparison on the cap lifetime i have a cm quickfire i use with my laptop were the font wore off after 6-7 months of use while the doubleshots while glossy will never loss the letter/number
these are PBT keycaps, which is the better plastic, either you have a fake deck or very greasy fingers because these keys cant really get glossy because of the fact that they are PBT plastic and not ABS (ABS makes your keys all shiny and glossy)
You guys have no taste, this font is frickin' awesome!
The only downside is it coming in blue/white, I'd kill for a red or green version like the old Legend series. :(
Wow. I thought you guys were over-exaggerating about the font. Then I took a closer look.
Mother of god, you're right. They're seriously using Papyrus on the keys (or some variant thereof). What an abomination. Who ever thought that was a good idea?
I was actually considering buying this. I wanted a new mechanical keyboard with backlighting, and the doubleshot PBT caps sound great. But... not with that font. Yuck.
Yep, this might be the greatest keyboard in the world, with the greatest functions, and the most beautiful, most thoughtfully considered design decisions. But, there is no fucking way, in all of the 9 levels of Dante's Hell am I going to buy a keyboard using a Papyrus font. Seriously, Deck can suck it. At least give people the option of getting something without that abomination on it. The only thing worse would be Comic Sans.
