I have mixed feelings about Deep Blue copying the Turtle's design. For what it's worth though, I do enjoy my Seiko Turtle.

ZALHERAYup, they just eliminated the day function and moved the crown to 3 (and obviously a different movement). The PVD version is interesting though - looks like the Turtle and the Raven had a baby. Wonder if it wears as well as the Turtle? At a similar price point, I'm curious if anyone sees any advantage of the DB over the tried-and-true Seiko?

idoc72Sapphire crystal, superluminova, and arguably a better movement compared to the Turtle. The style may be the same but on paper it's better in specs in almost every way for a smaller price premium than it would be to mod a Turtle to the same specs.
