Massdrop... any updates on when this will ship? I contacted your customer service already... and they pretty much said they had no information as the details had to come with the vendor? Can you please confirm that Defcon Blade Works are the vendor we are dealing with?

TBoneNZMine has began it's journey to me. Thank fuck it's coming from the US because my experience with Massdrop's shipping from China has been less than stellar. Here's hoping USPS can get it here in less than a month.
Description shows one "drop" option in the stonewashed blade and red handle, but it is a tanto in the photo. Is there a drop point option in this one? Any thoughts?
Thanks for the update! Glad I did not get it, I am not a big fan of tanto blades -- they just do not work well for cutting pizza. :-)

Mike-from-PhillyIt's also about as sharp as an angry butter knife which makes pizza cutting that much harder. Time to buy some sharpening stones.

I'm in. Thanx for the good deal, Jonas. I really want the TX020 with the black and blue handle. Can you offer this again at the previous price or lower?

I'm in. 45 bones is just about right on the nose for one of these, if it's a quality match for the TX020.

The pictures of the available knives look like two different versions ... On 1 the thumb studs are further out an the logo is designed differently and on the other type the thumb stud is almost like a blade stop and has a plane jane logo... Is 1 style an updated model an the other an older model?

The surprise IS kind of fun I guess lol
TravyTravI wouldn't buy if I wasn't sure what thumbstud placement I'm getting. The one with the crosshairs in the logo has the thumbstud out far enough that it is right in the slicing path. It would be annoying if cutting long continuous sections of something like cardboard.

This is the best price I've seen on these. If you like the looks and the specs, I'd jump on this (i own 3 of the various models of this knife, different sizes, blade shapes. They're built like tanks, but are a bit bulky for my taste)

These are $60 on Amazon, not such a good deal. I’d buy the cpm s35vn model for this price.

mcloseThe posts were from 3 months ago when Drop posted the knives for $75 and Amazon had them for $60. The upper right corner of each comment has a time stamp.

Is this the same knife that appeared a month ago. I asked because the blade stud is in a slightly different position and last month's appeared beside a drop point knife
