Knife initially came with gritty, slow action from the factory. Without flipping it too many times, I took it apart, cleaned it out, oiled it, reassembled and...nearly fall shut action with just a little jiggle. :) Good sized knife with good ergos. Flips confidently, no blade play, and...oh yeah, it can cut, too. It’s a keeper.
I had been looking at this knife on another site but the Ti/CF handle was not on offer and it was more expensive overall. I'm glad I ordered this one, it is even better than my Defcon Sharktooth.
This knife arrived razor sharp out of the box but needed to be opened and oiled to get the action right. It has a great sound when it opens. The knife has excellent ergonomics (I have large hands) and the control is spot on for me. I love the look of it and its performance so far. I would recommend this to anyone with bigger hands. People with smaller hands might find this knife too large.
Just the kind of folding blade knife you want to carry if you need something hefty. I put it somewhere between a standard folding blade and s fixed blade knife.
I have a fair collection of knives and steels and this is a great value for the price.
-S35VN steel blade is great, fairly thick stock but thin behind the edge. Came super sharp but fairly easy to reprofile. Definitely larger than expected but I like it.
-Titanium handles with this level of detail and milling is amazing for the price. Comfortable in the hand. Not too heavy.
-Very smooth action. Each side of the blade has a bearing between washers and makes it so this knife is never difficult to open or close.
-Marbled carbon fiber is real, good milling.
-Backspacer is very well done, glass breaker is fairly low profile
-Titanium clip, no complaints.
-I could personally do without all the markings on the blade.
-Extra screws provided but for the wrong model.
-Blade was coated with lots of oil, a quick wash and it works great.
This is a decent knife for the price .Fit and finish are decent as well. Why would they put China on the blade. It just cheapens the knife for me .Had I seen that I would have never purchased this knife. I have bought several Chinese knives and it never says China on the blade JMHO. As far as the blade finish on my sample it is very typical $100 Chinese knife. On a positive note if you are somebody looking for a good knife to carry It's fine ,if you don't care about the things I mentioned.
There was an issue with shipping where the "extra" screws they provided weren't the correct ones for the knife, so I hopped on their website, and a rep helped me get a replacement sent out the next day.
Anyway, regarding the knife itself, it's HUGE and I didn't expect that, but I quite love it. Plus, the curved spine of the blade feels so cool. A+ knife, and worth the money.
Nice materials, good ergonomics, thick and dull blade.
This is a pretty knife, great anodizing, and the carbon fiber looks sweet. The blade was well centered, the rounded spine feels nice, but the blade has dull spots which for this price I don't think should happen. After some break in the action is smooth and sounds great.
If you want something that looks nice and sounds sweet, this is a knife for you. If you want something super slicey keep looking.
