Does anybody happen to know what the extra screws provided are for? This knife came with 3 smaller screws that appear to be titanium rainbow anodized, which would be awesome if I could figure out what they’re supposed to be used for...

Exactly! It's larger than the smaller two, but not nearly large enough for the main screw on the knife itself.

TheSuppishOneI can't figure it out either. Almost like they screwed up in production and decided to just throw the screwed up parts in. The small screws aren't long enough to replace any of the smaller screws and the big screw doesn't make any sense.

I've had one of these for a while now. The materials are great, but the action is the standout. I've never seen an action this remarkably good for this amount of money. The highest "awesome action to cost" ratio I've ever experienced.

BiggEMMFor me that's currently either my Rike/HX Outdoors ZD-006, or the QSP Pelican or Puffin, both of which have actions I would say are more fun than my Skaha II

Thanks for the pictures. They are better than any that Drop posted. This looks very similar to one of my Bestech knives with the but still considering purchasing. The carbon fiber gives it a really nice look.

ponagathosGlad they helped, this knife is like my Rike ZD-006, which I thought was ugly but I wanted an example of their work and maddeningly it became a favorite in my collection and I'm never getting rid of either of them.
The pocket clip is also extremely good for milled titanium, realistically the only things I can knock it for are the pyramidal glassbreaker on the end and flipper-only knives don't let me fiddle with as many fingers. Neither of those are big deals, and they did a super job on the grind of mine. The ZD-006 is a bit hatchety but then again Richard Wu has a big thing for meaty future combat-looking knives so it's not surprising the grind follows that design philosophy.

CuzdougYeah it does, I've only been able to find praise heavy reviews of their knives from a couple people, notably LTK, but they do look well made. I'm a sucker for checking out new manufacturers and I don't know who Defcon is made by yet, had to get one.

Seems to me the stated price should be $120, or else a different default image used. Very tempting, anyway.

Looks very nice, pointy, S35VN-y and titanium-y! The blade is a bit too long for my own use, I rarely need more than 3" for EDC.
I don't know anything about the brand, I may need to research it a bit. Anyone care to let me know their experience, if any, with this brand? Defcon?
