Comply and the cheaper new bee are really only meant to last a few months of heavy use before they need replacing. These last a little longer but foam tips in general don't last very long. At $8 these are a steal imo.

@DekoniAudio Hello Dekoni, I placed my order last time these were dropping - on 23rd April. I have ordered from massdrop multiple times and I know it takes a bit to reach me. But my particular order has been stuck in one status since 29th April. The tracking website says it was returned from USA Customs because of "Exportation Restriction". My order ID is - MD-84175-3929240. Massdrop support won't entertain anything until 6 weeks from the order date which will be 11th June, which is a long wait. Perhaps, you can pass on this info to the warehouse and check where is my order stuck, maybe some documentation is missing? If you can confirm that something went wrong with it, I can place a new order with this drop and eventually claim refund for the older on when 6 weeks have passed. I will greatly appreciate your help!

I also placed an order on this drop, I believe I'm stuck in a similar situation, tracking via usps has been "in transit to next facility" since April 29th. @DekoniAudio any update would be appreciated, waiting for a shipping update within the usps system for 20+ days seems a bit excessive.

The foam is not slow rebounding like they claim. I have these in both small and medium and can confirm the foam isn't even as good as the standard tips that came with my Andros or Solaris. The foam rebounds rather quickly, roughly 1-2 seconds. I own the mercury ones.

The size of the hole in the tips. Typically they will fit a slightly larger nozzle, as you will have (and want to have) some stretch for a secure fit. You don’t want to put 4.9mm tips on a 4.9mm nozzle. Or you’ll pull out your IEM and leave foam in your ears. if it helps, 4.9mm should be the same as T400 or 400 Comply. And 3mm should be the same as 100.

The good (so far): shipping was fast. the not so good: ordered the Gemini, got sent the Mercury, and Drop haven’t responded to my support request yet. Unless of course it turns out the Mercury is in fact the right fit for the Massdrop/Nuforce EDC3 IEMs that I’m still waiting on.

Hmm, since the bores are so small, we measure them in millimeters, and we have 4.9mm and 3mm sized tips. A 1/4” is about 6.35mm, quite large.

Just received my bulletz today and I can happily say they prevented my SE846 from being sold. My T3’s got marginally balanced out and sound even more awesome with added soundstage. Too bad they messed up my order and sent me only 1 set of Gemini and 1 set of Mercury, when I paid for an additional set of Mercury for my upcoming Kanas Pro....

Thank you for your help, but massdrop already took care of it. Btw when are we getting 6mm tips for Audeze's Isines and LCDi4s? Tried to fit the mercury tips but it's a no go...

Not sure. The Bulletz are really taking off in Asia (had a great time at CanJam Singapore two weeks ago!), but things are progressing slower in the US. The Audeze bores are so big! Good to know Massdrop took care of the eartips size issue ;) Some people even have different size requirements for each ear!

For those that a wondering, the Mercury is the right size for KZ ZST. Also, @DekoniAudio I was sent one large and three mediums in my S,M,L pack of Mercurys. Anything we can do about that? Turns out large is the size I need.

At $8 these are a a great buy. I got some send to me by Dekoni and once I found out they were not super slow rebound memory foam (less than 3 seconds) I was ready to hate them and have to give them a bad review and at first I didn't like them and was ready to give them a big fail. But while yes there a fast rebound foam, and I found they didn't seal as well but after a while i grew to like them a lot. The biggest issue i have with memory foam tips is if i have to take it out to hear someone or for what ever reason i then have to fiddle with it to compress it then fit it back in. With these all you really have to do is push them in and your good to go. These also last a lot longer than most memory foam tips. I used to use Comply But switches to Newbee as from my testing they fit and felt the same and sounded the same. But cost a lot less, so for a memory foam tip newbee > Comply. But with these tips if i use them every day i found after about 1 month i wanted to change them out as they just didn't work as well. I haven't used these as much yet but after a couple months they feel a lot closer to brand new than the memory foam ones. Another plus is for me if i leave my IEMS laying out the memory foam tips start to dry out and crack fairly quick, I haven't had any issues like that with these. At $8 I think everyone should at least give them a try to see what they think, personally these are my new standard. Id call these a middle ground tip between silicon and memory foam. Pros:
  • Lasts a lot longer
  • Quicker to put in
  • Tighter fit (not a pro or con, but I put it under pro as sometimes the Comply/Newbee tips fall off if I put my IEMs in my pocket or what not)
  • Less pressure inside my ear
  • Takes to being washed a lot better
Con:
  • Not as good of a seal as memory foam
  • Slightly less comfortable.
  • The foam isn't bad but the fact the marketing claims its slow rebound when its not that slow (less than 3 seconds, half the time compared to others) could be an issue.

Bought these elsewhere (the Mercury) and was not impressed. The foam is springy and just doesn't stay deformed for even a second so you can get them deeper into your ear so you have to try to cram them in and twist until they're mostly seated. Just not something I personally enjoy, though I suspect some may.. I also felt that the isolation wasn't remotely up to snuff. Comply are more expensive, probably last less long, but they work better.

Yes, all Shure SE-series in-ears use a 3 mm, I'm pretty sure. If you're looking for maximum isolation, you probably don't want Dekoni, you want Comply. Their model P are longer than these and isolate incredibly well. But I'm not a big fan of these. In fact I found the Mercury model borderline unusable, very annoying rubbery foam that doesn't compress.
