My original pads on my Superlux 668b headphones are starting to give up the ghost; which of these may be compatible?
you'd want the beyer pads! thx
Bought some of the velour; I have another pair of headphones, AKG K612 Pro, that came with velour as standard I really like the feel of those. I'll be interested to see how much changing the pads may affect the sound.
if you stay velour to velour, you won't expect a tremedous difference. The biggest difference will be that your ears will be a little further from the driver (as the pads are a little thicker than stock), which will open up the sound stage a little.
So, if the stock on my Superlux is pleather, how might the sound profile change?
(Thank you for taking the time to reply, by the way!)
I would expect a reduction in low end and to tame the highs a bit.
That sounds perfect for the 668b's. Again, thank you for the response!
