Why not drop the Nuggets internationally, like you did when DekoniAudio first released them?

I was waiting a long time for this drop to come back. But I couldn't wait anymore so I bought them from Amazon for $20 (on Dekoni's own website they sell them for $30). They are exactly what I wanted. Anyone who owns a Fostex headphone knows that the headband padding isn't exactly generous, but After I attached the nuggets it's completely comfortable. Others have noted that the adhesive may not be the stickiest thing in the world so I didn't even use it (this also maintains the reusability of the nuggets) , I just attached them with some double sided tape and I baby the headphones so they don't fall off lol. I would recommend these to anyone who finds the headband on their headphones uncomfortable.

Mine are red, I got them from Amazon only a couple weeks ago. I think I'm fine with the double sided tape that I added, like I said, I'm preserving the original adhesive, I can always switch it later if I want. So far it's working fine, and very comfortable.

Great! I did small rings of Scotch tape for awhile because I have a lot of different headphones to experiment with. So I get it! I think flexibility of pad placement is the point of these. Folding the tape into rings (I didn’t have double sided tape) made the pads dangle a bit when I wasn’t wearing them, and eventually there were a few models I decided I always wanted Nuggets on them (AKG K612 Pro, Fostex T50RP). I also decided I’m enamored with the two-nugget HD 650-style padding arrangement. Heads up- the Red adhesive is much stronger, but I’m not going to resell these headphones (and if I did, the comfort improvement is IMO necessary anyway, and much better than the baby seatbelt wraps I used before).

Pretty much essential for anyone who has a headphone with a straight headband design. How people can tolerate contact on the direct top of their head for more than 30 mins is beyond me. Slap a few of these guys slightly to the sides and you're golden. Also very happy to see so many companies going the vegan route. Synthetic leather/protien makes far more sense now that formula's have been done to the degree it's pretty much better than leather in terms of wear/tear. Also sending defenseless animals to oblivion for the sake of wearing their skins is pretty much disgusting to think about. Good job Dekoni!

No, I don't want to discuss the topic of veganism. In your original post, you claimed that "Synthetic leather/protien makes far more sense now that formula's have been done to the degree it's pretty much better than leather in terms of wear/tear" but "never defined wear and tear" or specified the earpads to which you were referring. "... still here wondering when you're going to do that." You say a lot, but seem to be incapable of answering a simple question that would clarify your original claim. Noting a synthetic leather earpad that ventilates better than a real leather pad would also be appreciated. I will read another of your responses only if it starts with the make and model of the earpads you were comparing. Further blathering containing "LITERAL evidence of your mental impediment right now about inability to follow of a conversation" is not worth my time or effort... and "I simply lack the drive to entertain to much word count anymore about your sub par ability to express yourself properly in discourse."

Okay then I suppose I'll simply leave it at that. I explained to you as for both anecdotal experiences, I have no interest in debating that, I say this is derived from a pair of LCD ear pads for example, and that answered your question as to which faired better. I don't challenge your claim of you feeling like leather is better, to which I also made closing comments in my first post saying, regardless of how better they are, it's not worth sending animals to death for it, and that's that. Hopefully this quick summary explains somewhat to where you've gotten lost in the whole ordeal. But since you have no other interest than talking about proving some leather "breathes" or "ventilates" better, I have nothing more to say really. I explained even why that's lunacy since you're not going to be passing air through leather itself, but you also do not concede that either for whatever reason (you conflate with temperature vs air, to which i tried mentioning holds no barring on your prior claim's truth, yet you still are content with jumping from claim to claim). Good luck to you, but this is all I have left to say.

I hope this drop comes back soon before I crack and pay full price direct from @DekoniAudio I think these would be a nice addition to my Fostex TH-900 mk2's to make the headband more comfortable.

We use them on our TH-900 and TH 909 all the time! It's up to you how long you want to wait for comfort, but at least they come in 4 piece orders to help with the value proposition. Please don't eat our 4 Piece Dekoni Nuggets. They are made of synthetic leather and memory foam, not chicken ;)

Does anyone know the type of 3M sticky tape being used on these? Or is there a replacement tape that is recommended if the original has to be taken off and re-applied?

I added three dekoni nuggets to the Mitchell & Johnson GL2 headband. I found the GL2 headband uncomfortable and the nuggets solved the problem. They have the same width as the GL2 headband, making a nice aesthetic solution.

Looks great! The thinly padded headband should benefit from more cushioning. Haven't decided if these are going on the Mitchell & Johnson GL2 or MJ2. Leaning towards the MJ2. They are even too big with the headband at the smallest setting.

That headband came out looking great!! Thanks for sharing! @Barondla, the Nuggets are indeed a great option for those large headbands... we loaned a few to Audeze at RMAF2018 so that a lady could have a chance to hear their planar goodness, without holding up the headphone ;) While we'd love to sell you two sets, you could try starting with two Nuggets on the MJ2 at first, HD 6xx -style. You could just temporarily rest the un-stuck third Nugget in the middle of the headband and compare with just two Nuggets, and if you like two Nuggets, then the 4 Piece package would serve both of your headphones. Hopefully that pleases you, and you come back to us for more! ^__^

My MDR-XB950 headband started crumbling and i don't know if i should take this or ZMF pilot pad... From simple looks, i think that ZMF fits the headband's length more than these nuggets

April 1st? Nope, still January.... that said I've used replacement hd600 bands and cut them for the same exact purpose as these. The 4.00 pair on amazon with free shipping is amazing and even has better durability than the original hd600 head pads, they don't lose their form either and aren't as obtrusively large as these. FYi ;-)
