These look cool but they don't look 60$ cool and seeing as they aren't even memory foam I'd say they're heavily overpriced.

They are very much memory foam. I quite like the feel of them over the original pads which aren't memory foam on my hd650's. Dunno what the other people below are expecting from memory foam...it's not the same stuff from a tempur pedic bed that takes forever to come back into shape.

divideadYeah, these are definitely memory foam and work great for those of us that wear glasses. Especially considering how firm the stock 650 pads are, these are quite "squishy" and much more comfortable over long periods of time.

zep483I ended up with elite hybrids if it helps. Just don't like the feeling of the leather directly against my head (shaved head)

zep483I went with the hybrids. I also have the elite velour and between them, the differences sonically are very very small. The hybrids are a bit more firm over the ELVL but both are comfy. The ELVL may be a bit more forgiving around the edges of my ears but I'm being very nitpicky here.
