Get the Brainwavz HM5 pads. It's hard to get 'em on, but they fit. The HM5's definitely do change the sound though. I used the non-velour kind and it sounded like things were a bit farther away (which makes sense, because the drivers were farther from my ears). The brown pads they offer match pretty well.

Sorry pal, couldn't hear you over my HM5 pads on my K553's https://imgur.com/a/l4WrO (jk jk, having a laugh). It's totally possible though, but it's hard to get 'em on. Y'know how there's a little notch in the cup for nicely sliding the stock pads on? You need to use that and stretch the rim of the HM5's a bunch to get them to fit.

Agreed when I had my 553's I used the HM5 pads on em and they fit just takes a little work and using the notch as a starting point.

Thanks for the info! Love my k553's! Use the all the time for both work and play(I produce audiobooks for a living). I was starting to wonder about replacement pads when I saw this drop. I like your solution better.

Yeah it defs changes the sound a bit (makes it a bit more distant) but my main issue is that my ears were touching the cups. I hate that because it hurts my ears after a while. So it worked well for me.
