Durable, comfy pads
Last two years using TH-900 Elite Hybrids daily on my Hifiman Sundara with great comfort and looks like will use some more years. Those are higher quality pads compared to previous original pads which failed after couple month (4 pairs) of ussage.

Not as described.
The item I received is not the same as advertised in the Drop’s photos. The density and size of fenestrations are much smaller on my set. The leather material as well looks different.
The foam used in my set is practically air-tight which ruins the point of having fenestrations. Extra cost for no benefit except aesthetically. And if aesthetics is the main purpose then the pad I received fails again because it doesnt look like the pad advertised.

Made me enjoy my TR-X00 even more
Before I bought these everyone said I should consider upgrading the pads on my TR-X00, but I was happy with the standard pads. But then I saw these come up on drop, and I figured why not give them a try... and I'm really glad I did! I bought the hybrid variation, and they make the headphones even more comfortable with a more secure fit, fewer pressure points, and a higher quality, more breathable material. 1 year later they're holding up quite well. Obviously a quality product, definitely worth the price.

An alternative to my Yaxi Alcantara Pads for the Fostex TH900 MK2 - Not Bad
The original pads for the Th900 MK2 disintegrated. Hot humid weather + body oil (I got this headphone used) combined made the old ones unusable. I got the Yaxi Alcantara pads as a replacement and was happy with it though it tamed the bass more than I would have liked. I got the Dekoni Sheep Skin pads to see whether I can hear the bass again. I think the effect was subtle but I an definitely feel that the Sheek Skins are much comfortable for longer listening. Overall its good but its not going to impress your socks off.

TH-900 Sheepskin + EMU Teak
Great earpads as usual from Dekoni. I have been using this combo ever since I got the pads a few weeks ago.
As a glass user, I was looking for a set of earpads that were more comfortable than the stock pads that came with the EMU Teak. I also wanted to tilt the sound to have a bit more treble presence and less mid bass hump. The bass is much too rumbly for me and I didn't like how I couldn't easily distinguish the bass guitar to the drum bass.
For reference the stock, EMU Teak has a lot of mid bass lots of rumble in the lows with no leak in the mids. The treble can only be describe as polite. As a metal listener, the highs could be better.
With the skeepskins, the mid-bass is lessened and much less rumble. Instead, the bass response is now flatter so bass slaps and the reverb from the cups can be felt. The bass sensation is a lot better. The mids aren't affected too much. The treble presence is a more present now but they are still smooth. Guitars in metal now have bite to them without being too strident.
The overall tonality is similar to the Focal Clear (my previous daily headphones). But of course, with a closed design, the bass to mid presentation is different. Surprisingly, the headphone remained open-sounding so long listening session is great, closed sounding headphones can be tiring for me.
As a tangent, the Focal Elegia was garbage to my ears. The tonality of the TH-900 Sheepskin + EMU Teak is what I expected a closed back version of a Focal Clear to be.
