This is something that is probably an acquired taste but it's what I do with my Meze Noir so I want to put it out for if anyone else wants to try. I use Mr Speakers Alpha Dog pads. The lamb skin leather ones. I bought the pads for a different headphone but when I tried them on my Meze they became paired for life. It doesn't increase the bass much if at all. It does add texture and definition to it though. Also the soundstage is greatly increased and the overall sound quality as well. I also tried the different cables meze makes for this headphone. I didn't like the $100+ balanced one. It made the treble painful and messed with the sound signature. The $50 2.5mm balanced one is good though. It gives a more audiophile sound if that make sense. I'll use the stock cable for my relaxing laying my head back on the chair and relax sound and the balanced cable for a little more audiophile sound. I've heard other headphones but these are my keepers for reference. Hifiman Ananda, Monolith M570, Sennheiser Hd660s, Meze Noir, Moondrop KXXS, Tin Hifi P1. Hope this helps anyone out there :-)
