So something no one seems to be talking about is that these pads can totally fall apart. I have the suede and leather, not from Drop, and a construction issue they have is they are only held together by glue. As you sweat, over time, it gets absorbed and the glue falls apart. My suede ear pads eventually separated completely.

My leather ones are still together but only because I haven't used them much at all. You can see the edge that is only attached by glue here.
I see frequency response graphs for suede and leather but not for velour. Both suede and leather increase bass response and that's not something I personally want. Can Dekoni give us a frequency response graph for the velour?
baakstaffThanks for the link. Looked earlier today and didn't see anything. Still too much of a bass boost for me, as I feel the stock X2HR is already a little boosted in the bass for me.
Have ordered both: leather and Suede. My order is number 8. Will post my impression here as arrived. Hope it will come with plastic adapter with pegs, otherwise I need to 3D print one or remove from the old pads.
What's with the double sided tape? These don't have the mounting pegs like the genuine pads? I don't want to glue the damn things to my cans if I don't have to.
FrogmeatIt looks like they want you to tear the mounting rings/pegs off the original pads and stick these on... which I would NOT do. I like the sound of the X2's fuzzy pads and worry that the leathers will be too harsh and the suede too warm sounding.
