On the sonic side, the Cobalt features large, cutting-edge dynamic drivers with carbon-coated diaphragms— each designed in such a way that the carbon coating can be placed anywhere on the driver. This allowed for the team’s engineers to meticulously tune each headphone for an expressive frequency response. Dekoni chose the Fenestrated Sheepskin Earpads from its Elite Series to bring class leading comfort, breathability, and last-step soundstaging to the Cobalt. Completing each pair’s plush wearability is a thick, padded headband from HIFIMAN—plus an extra pair of Dekoni Elite Velour Earpads.
