Good quality for the price.
This is my first closed back headphones. It was exactly what I was looking for compared to open back, more base. A total different experience while listening to music.

I did however added a mod, the Dekoni Audio Foam Baffle, from Amazon. For that upgraded base sound.
Overall, for the discounted price, it is a great option.

Flawed but fantastic
Stereo separation is strong to the point where there's occasionally little center stage to hear at all. It's a very unique listening experience compared to what I'm used to in a headphone. Sometimes it makes mixes sound like the recording booth, but a good recording really makes these shine. Very speaker-like. One gripe, the headband can get uncomfortable after 90 or so minutes, but at $160 these are a steal, even if you need to shell out more money to Dekoni for ""nuggets"".

Solid quality and very comfortable
Pros:
- Good sound quality that ecentuates the middle and highs rather than on the bass.
- Very comfortable with the default pads, have bit tried the second pair but have heard great things.
- Sound quality is great. I am not an audiophile or purchase in that range, but I do have some decent quality sound equipment, both consumer and professional, and find these headphones reproduction is very good, albeit bass lite.
- Build quality feels sturdy and of quality parts except for the plastic name caps at the ends of the headband.
- Cup size is great and properly covers the ear entirely, coupled with the high quality Dekoni pads make for a very pleasurable listening experience. I have a large diameter head at 8" with my hair, so having faith in the strong band and the quality metal sliders to extend the headphone size is nice.
Cons:
- Quality control may be an issue as I received a unit where the caps at the end of the headband were both labeled with L. Attempted an RMA but they expect you to send back the originals before sending out a replacement. yes, its a esthetic, but yes the Quality department should have caught that.
- Original price point was a bit high for a non-wood cup, even with a high quality 50mm driver. I can confidently recommend the headphone at the sub $200 area.
- A good headphone amplifier should be used with the 32 ohm impedance. Yes, they work just fine with most consumer amplification applications (smart phone's, computer integrated sound cards, DACs, etc.) but they really shine with robust amplification and I would lean on the side of requiring it.
- For, originally, a $500 headphone the packaging is underwhelming and there are no included accessories beyond the second set of ear pads. A basic cloth case for complete storage would have been a nice touch to protect the $500 headphones.

It's very nice
Wasn't really sure what to expect and am pleasantly surprised. For the price they're quite good. Light, comfortable, and sound fine. I'll be the first to admit I have no idea what really really good headphones sound like, but these work great for what I use them for...YouTube, TEDTalks, audiobooks, etc. Not really a ton of music going through these, but that's on me. My daughter wears hearing aids and needs headphones for school, so these likely will end up with her since they cover the entire ear, we'll see how they do with competing technology, but I expect they'll be fine.

Ok closed back
I got this 20% more than the sale price on BFCM just one day prior. I'm probably not gonna get the price adjustment, I kind of throw out a lot of the positives I have for it. Comfort is fine for me, I would prefer some suspension band, but I guess I can't ask too much for this. The sound is ok, would like more sub-bass. But that is just me. Build quality is painfully average, which is also fine, I guess. Overall ok.

Great Value
Great value at less than 200 bucks. They sound a lot better than any wireless headphones at any price. I use these with an ifi goblue plugged in via USB-C to my Pixel phone and walk around with them. The low impedance makes them easy to power with a portable amp. The sound isolation is non-existent but I just jack up the volume. Everyone can hear whatever you have playing and you can hear everything on the street if you are not listening to these at home so just keep that in mind but they sound great and are super comfy.
I have watched some weird reviews videos on YouTube about these making dubious claims like that they sound good when the volume is low and that the bass is bad but I find them to just be good, well balanced and neutral headphones with great 45 mm drivers. Take the reviews with a grain of salt, these reviewers are desperate for stuff to talk about.

It is what I was expecting
The high point of these headphones is definitely the vocal tonality. The mids are more forward than with other headphones I've used and voices really stand out of the mix. The bass is present and provides some thump, but it doesn't extend verry low. I like the treble, but my favorite headphones are Grados, so I like a sound profile that many others would consider too bright and harsh... Less so with the velour pads, but even less bass extension. The most comparable headphones I have much experience with are the DT770 pro. The build quality I would say is not as good as the 770. The cups of the Cobalts are stiff and don't rotate as well and they just don't feel as durable, but the detachable cable is a big bonus. These are verry comfortable headphone, but the 770s are even more comfortable. The Bass of the 770s extends lower, but there is less impact.
It may sound like I prefer the 770s, but I don't. The fact is that I have hardly touched my 770s since I got my Cobalts. The way that the sound stage engulfs me makes them more engaging and the vocals convey emotion better. I'm really having a hard time putting them down, but I don't really need to because these are efficient enough not to require more than a dongle to power them... I've been mostly using a Qudelix-5k to power them fairly easily when I'm moving around the house. I've used both balanced and unbalanced outputs of the 5k, but couldn't hear the difference.
At My desk I have a Fiio K11 R2R feeding an Xduoo MT-602 unbalanced. I've also tried using them balanced straight out of the Fiio K11. The Unbalanced output from the K11 doesn't sound as good as the MT-602. The balanced out of K11 sounds better (fuller and deeper) than the unbalanced out of the k11. The MT-602 is my favorite though. that probably say more about the quality of the single ended vs balanced vs line out of K11, but these are the first headphones where those differences were noticeable

searchI finally got mine today, this are my first impressions: This sound really good! Is a neutral tone with good bass and mids , the highs are good but not as natural as other headphones , one thing that surprised me is the comfort , these are light and super confortable , it comes with 2 sets of pads , I haven’t tried the velour ones but I will update later , so in conclusion if you get this on sale they’re a great buy if you’re looking for a closed back that sounds like an open back with great comfort and neutral sound.

Yes they still come with 2 sets of pads, like I showed in the picture, and for the sound : just to be clear these are not bright headphones, they neutral with a tiny bit of brightness in the highs that if you put the velour will roll off

DonVOh God, please don't! There are already too many "audiophile" reviews on here that go on and on about the equipment used, etc. How about a 100 word max? Granted, "They sound good" isn't helpful. but giving a forum to some dude who bores like a wood beetle isn't either. It's not as if audio equipment is akin to things like food or wine (or keyboards!) where pages of descriptive analysis are warranted.
