I got 1 that was the new, improved type (in purple), but both of my other two (pink and light blue) are the old, weak magnet versions. Massdrop needs to do something about their vendors either not doing what they agree with, or not providing good information. After this and the first magic monthly drop snafu, it is hard to trust any of the info that Massdrop is giving us.
Just got these in the mail. Same problem as the old ones. Weak Magnets. Maybe Dex Protection never did update these with new magnets. Ah well. I will probably keep them just for shelf storage. Don't put your decks in these and put it in the main compartment of your backpacks guys. Maybe in a smaller pocket where the flap doesn't have room to open. Shame on Massdrop for dropping the ball on this.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Dex Protection 100+ Deck Boxes (3-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will ship the individual orders directly to you. The current estimated ship date is 10/5.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/30.

I have bought these deck boxes at my local card shop for $15 a piece. They're pretty worth it at that price so getting 2 more for the same price is quite a steal. These boxes have plenty of space to fit decks and are pretty durable. My only problem with these boxes is that you can't fit the plastic top loader sleeves which is what I use to separate my commander general from the rest of my deck, but that doesn't bother me too much.
Exciting news group! We’re happy to report that all of the orders have been shipped out and are now on the way to you! Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to get into the shipper's system and start updating.
