With 109 key layout, N-key rollover, and 1,000 Hz report rate, EpicGear’s DeziMator X keyboard is built for PC gaming. In addition to 4 customizable gaming profiles accessible through dedicated GUI software, the DeziMator X offers five macro keys and fully programmable backlit keys for added ambiance. There’s even a gaming-mode option that deactivates the Windows key. Here is a review by Wes from LANOC.
Note: At check-out you have the option of EG Grey, EG Orange, or EG Purple switches.
Additional Note: This is an exclusive North America launch by Epicgear for the Dezimator X through Massdrop and the expected shipping date is based on the lead time required for the order to manufacture.
After surveying various gamers, EpicGear decided to go with their own switches on the Dezimator X. The actuation point has been shortened by 25% to 1.5mm to provide fast and precise response, and the actuation force is tweaked at 50g for just the right clicking feel and feedback. Maximized gold plating at the contact point and double blade contacts to form a dual-cross contact area effectively avoids the problem of double-tapping/double-register seen in conventional mechanical switches. The EG Grey is the linear option, the EG Orange is the tactile option, and the EG Purple is the tacticle and clicky option for the Dezimator X.
Composed of 70% aluminum and weighing over four pounds, the 20.78 x 10.08-inch DeziMator X is anything but delicate. But it’s not without its comforts. An arch-shape base tilts the keyboard at a 9 degree angle and 13 degrees when legs are propped to allow for optimal hand position for gaming. It comes with a wrist rest for added comfort and performance, while the rubber surface beneath the keyboard ensures it won’t slip. In the upper right-hand corner, a sturdy wheel provides quick access to volume control, and audio/mic jacks let this keyboard act as your media hub.
